Although the resin supplier, Resinate, addresses food safety in their FAQs indicating their resins are safe for incidental contact with food, we still highly recommend placing a layer of waxed paper, parchment paper, or similar between the coasters/trays and any open food. Resinate also provides information on heat resistance in their FAQs, indicating resistance to dry heat in the temperature range of +110º C (+230º F). Finished products have a hardness level of 81 out of 100, and are scratch resistant under normal use and care.
Hand wash with warm water and mild dish detergent. Pat dry or allow to air dry and wipe away any water spots with clean soft cloth.
Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher.
