Although the resin supplier, Resinate, addresses food safety in their FAQs indicating their resins are safe for incidental contact with food, we still highly recommend placing a layer of waxed paper, parchment paper, or similar between the surface of the item and any open food.

Resinate also provides information on heat resistance in their FAQs, indicating resistance to dry heat in the temperature range of +110º C (+230º F). Repeated/prolonged exposure to high heat however should be avoided. Proper use will help to ensure your safety and prolong the life of the item.

Finished products have a hardness level of 81 out of 100 and are scratch resistant under normal use and care.

Care
Hand wash with warm water and mild dish detergent. Pat or air dry. Wipe away any water spots with clean, soft cloth.

Not suitable for oven, microwave, or dishwasher. Store away from any direct heat source.
