The resin supplier, Resinate, provides information on heat resistance in their FAQs, indicating resistance to dry heat in the temperature range of +110º C (+230º F). I have personally witnessed repeated use of a similar ashtray crafted from the same resin which is holding up well with little to no visible marks to the interior or exterior of the item.
Finished products have a hardness level of 81 out of 100, and are scratch resistant under normal use and care.
Hand wash with warm water and mild dish detergent. Pat dry or allow to air dry and wipe away any water spots with clean soft cloth.
Light-up ashtrays: Do not submerse in water. Clean as above taking care to keep the cord and switch dry.
Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher.
